Danat Saudia has established itself as one of the most trusted providers for BTEX and VOC removal in Saudi Arabia, with master service agreements with several of the major companies in the Kingdom. We have a perfect track record of removing BTEX/VOC to meet regulatory specifications in over 70 projects over the past 15 years. Our systems are engineered to meet and exceed RCER 2015 standards, even under severe inlet conditions. In one case, we successfully reduced BTEX concentrations exceeding 40,000 ppm to levels compliant with discharge to Marafiq from day one of operation. Our Rapid Response units are designed to tackle sudden VOC and benzene excursions, providing mobile, high-throughput treatment systems that can be deployed within hours. In a multi-year campaign treating heavily contaminated wastewater from a specialty chemical facility, Danat removed benzene from levels above 30,000 ppm down to the RCER regulatory limit of <0.056 ppm, enabling continuous plant operations and preventing costly shutdowns. Another long-term deployment processed over 1 million m³ of wastewater and helped eliminate the need for 300 vacuum truck loads, reducing both cost and environmental risk.

Danat’s BTEX and VOC capabilities extend to the most extreme cases, including post-incident response. Following a major chemical fire at a waste management facility, Danat was chosen by the Royal Commission to manage a highly toxic cocktail of firefighting water, solvents, and EDC-laced waste streams. Through staged treatment and precise chemical control, we successfully reduced EDC concentrations to below 0.5 ppm, meeting strict seawater discharge thresholds. This performance reinforces our standing as the Kingdom’s leader in safe, effective, and environmentally sound VOC and BTEX treatment.
